We first headed west where we visited the small hidden town of Masca in the center of the Teno area. Here we have time to take some photos, and a good coffee next to the local church with a beautiful and huge ficus tree that is a few hundred years old
.We continue to the next Mirador Altos de Baracán where we have the opportunity to take a short walk and take some pictures with 360° views. In addition, we drive along the winding road over the mountain and arrive at the north side of the island where local agriculture clearly dominates
.The next stop is the town of Garachico, which was rebuilt after the town was completely destroyed by the lava flow from the black volcano in 1706. Here we have time to visit the old castle of San Miguel, the church of Santa Ana and the park where we can see an old wine press, “a slum”.
On the way back to the south there is another photo break at more than 500 meters above sea level where you can admire the entire north side of the island, and then we drive through the Erjos Laurel Forest on the way back to your hotel.
